Two-time Grand National winner Tiger Roll will compete for a third victory in April.
Trainer Gordon Elliott states before coming to Aintree the nine-year-old will contest two races at the New Year.
Jockey Davy Russell will, partners again by winning back Nationals, tiger Roll, who emulated Red Rum.
Even though the intention is not to race during this season, He’s also being trying to get a bid to win a fifth Cheltenham Festival.
“We’re likely to need to head him today and select and pick where we all go,” Elliott said in an interview using Aintree Racecourse.
“He will likely have one run over conflicts, maybe something similar to the Boyne Hurdle [in Navan at February] again.
“He’ll return into Cheltenham [in March] for the Cross Country race then we will go for your Randox Health Grand National.”

That isn’t any shock – can staff and owner Michael O’Leary resist chasing a valuable piece of sporting history? However there had been some rumblings about the horse becoming weight.
Obviously, he’ll get plenty but, at Aintree, this horse thrives such as Red Rum, making the obstacles appear simple as he glanced about them.
And while those people who grew up watching’Rummy’ in the 1970s will always consider him like the Aintree icon, you have to be a certain age so a legend is great to keep him at all.
